Tendulkar 5th time OUT on Nineties this year

II am not written this blog because I am a sachin fan, but because the little masters is out for the Tendulkar 5th time OUT on Nineties this year and 3 times in 99.The Last match against Pakistan in which sachin scored 99 out of 91 balls was a feast to watch. That day was diwali in south, Obviously for people like me cricket was important than diwali, that too sachin the flow no way cricket lovers can miss that. Sachin running down the Track to hit bowlers over the cover is a delight. This particular match sachin was at his best dispatching bowlers around the field.I agree that when it comes to sachin's batting I am suppositious. I used to sit in the same position till sachin gets out. This time I was I the same position till the master hit his 99. When he was in 97 he glided the ball to 3 man. Million should prayed that he will complete his 3rd run, but he didn’t. Then next umar gul beats him behind, I could feel the hear in mouth, I am sure my million friends would have felt the same. But I was still confident that sachin will finally cross his must stagnant figure of 42. Sachin spoiled my diwali mood when he got out again on 99

He are some data of batsmens who got out at 99.

The Alchemist

An old man without food and shelter showed me what really it means to believe in god.

We were in zoo enjoying the day with some school kids. We took them to a one-day outing to show the zoo. Of course the day was fantastic, we orders food for round about 250 people along with kids. At the end of the day we were left out of some food. The quantity was fair enough to serve 20 people. So me and my friend decided to walk around
to find some people whom we can give.

This was Ramadan period. The Ramadan has just been started, we asked an auto driver where we can give. He took us to near by mosque where so many people were sitting in the entrance. We started giving food packets to the people.

There was pretty old man who came and asked whether he can get couple of packets. We were infact happy to give. The old man took the food and started to pack in a cover he had. I was wondering what he is doing. He didn’t even open the food packet we gave he just packaged it again.

Then I realized that I am standing in front of a mosque at Ramadan time. The man without food shelter still keeps fasting during the period. In spite of being served with good food he still waits for the fast to get over.

Though he doesn’t have anything still he keeps the faith in god. I just looked at myself, do I keep this much faith in god ? or how true I am to god ? the question still goes around my mind.

I was just looking at the old man walking away from me. I could just say him that he got an admirer, and say thanks to god for arranging the meeting.

Lunch at Kumarakom, Chennai

Its was sunday.. asusual dull day. We usually get up very late in sunday after the saturday nightout. that sat. we went to besant nager beach. Came home in mindnight drenching in rain. Infact that would be rare scneario in chennai.

After geeting up late we were hardly in mood to have breakfast. We were planning some kinda brunch. Then we switched on the television to see Jamesh bond speaking tamil in vijay TV. Then we gather strenth to have lunch. Kumarakom was a idle option since ot was near our place and would be a good place for lunch.

We went to Kumarakom at porur. No doubt the place was crowded as usaul since it was sunday. Sure half of chennai would not cook in weekends. The porur branch has been extended in recent days. We finally got a place to sit.

Its being long time i had rice and sambar. Reason i hardly get that in hyd and other was my diet reason. I have rice once i n a week in Hyd. I didnt make late in ordering meals. My freinds ordered various things. Then came huge bowl with sambarand a bowl full of rice.

First i made all the nakra and said i am in diet will not eat so much. The food was utlimate delicious i finished up all the sambar anfd rice. The side dish was amazing it was avial, payaru and papad. WOW what a lunch was the statement after that.

Kumarakom is amazing place if you like kerala side food. People you dont like coconut oil be away from the place. Sea food is waht you can look for and ofourse all other mallu food.

Final verdit i would say is that you should have a meal there

The Edge Resturant .. Chennai

It was rainly day when i tried out Edge in chennai. The climate was chill(In terms of chennai climate) me and my freind tried out edge for lunch.

We also had a problem when we got out for lunch or dinner. Non - veggi is a must for her and i am pure veggie guy. The Edge was a perfect option for us beacuse they have humpteem veg and no-veg dishes.

Ok lemme say few things about the abiance. it has dull light which will make you feel that you have come to some special places. The partions were work done in wood. Even and table and chairs was pretty well crafted in wood. There were numerous artifical and real indoor plant.

The seating arrangement is wonderful. In the sense you dont feel that you are not in resturant with too many people. Its added with the lighting effect too. The glass arangement for moctails was nice one too.

Then came the chinkis with menu card. Seeing then all over the place will influnce to try chinese dish. After going through the pages to menu card. We knew that we might not order anything in common. Then after some moe time we settled with sezhwan freinds rice - veggie one and she order chicken side dish and i setteled with dragon roll.

The dragon roll was the first one they served. it mostly served us for the starter purpose. The taste was infact pretty good. The sezhwan fried rice was served, The looks will make you feel that its not gonna be very spicy. The freid rice was very well made and it infact tasted sezhwan. My freind said that chicken also tasted good .

The final verdict i would like to give is a good place to try in a weekends esp people who love chinese. being located in shanthi colony in annagar is added advantage for edge.

Inspiration from orange county choppers

Building a bike and car was always my favorite interest. Only In my final year engineering project I got a chance to make a car. It was a go -cart model car with all the fundas of hybrid technologies. But bike I never made one.

Though I like few of the bikes in Indian roads, I was really never inspired until I saw Harley V-rod and orange county choppers.

The first episode I saw was on the travel and living channel. The whole episode was rocking and inspired me to build my own bike. Then I visited their site /www.orangecountychoppers.com . What a awesome site. Every bike is a beauty and has a tales to tell.

It was not until I made my US visit I really want to make a bike of my own. I then decided I should build a bike of mine.

After a long week finally I came up with sketch of the bike. I was happy that I completed my sketch. It’s been months but I haven’t started building it. Now I am waiting for some great moment to start building my dream bike..

Of course its inspired by the orange county choppers models.

Sivaji...The boss

Hi All,

finally its time to bolg about sivaji movie release. But beware it’s written from a die-hard fan of the "Thalaivar" Super star rajini kanth.

When the first poster were put in the city. Even to see the posters we went to other end of the city. We were rejoiced that thalaivar is back. Then next came the trailer in CNN IBN. Which was the start of rajini mania. If a person can make such a impact it can only be the one and only super star.

After seeing the trailer i was convinced that yes, the movies will be super hit. it not because of the music or because of shankar. It because of the superstar appeal. 100 Million thanks to manish malhotra. you made super star look young.

I was sure that even if trailer is shown for 2 hours people you still see that, including me. After Waiting for a months finally the movie is released in all part of the world. Though i missed all the drama in front of the theater in tamilnadu. I saw the movie in Hyderbad. Million thanks to Prasad’s who released the Tamil version in Hyderabad.

The show was early in the morning. so we went with out coconut. We had managed to collect lot of tissues paper and newspaper to through when thalaivar comes in the screen. Fortunalty we were sitting in the first row of the theater, for the intro and all the punch dialog we threw papers in the screen. The whole crowd was wondering whether we were a bunch of rouge.. Since it was in Hyderabad and Tamil version of the movies there were no mad crowd.. I would have enjoyed the movie more if i have seen that in Chennai. The specialty of rajini movie is to see in first day with the mad crowd. Finally after seeing the movie we came with the comment "Thalaivar Rocks".. And after a week saw it again and again and again..

The Story in rajinikanth movies hardly matter, for that matter there hasn't be huge variation of the story from Annamali to Sivaji , but still all movies are super hit. I would not waste much of time in saying pros and cons of story line is sivaji.

Though i would have been personally happy if rajini movie is taken by K.S ravi kumar rather than Shankar. Its not shankar is a bad director but there are few things which rajini fans would expect in the movie. They were glimpses of that when "motto boss" comes. Rajini of course did act well. Thanks to lawerence ragavendra for making a stylish song for the stylist person.

All i would say is Still superstar rules

CBZ X-treme Test Drive..

Hi All,

This is basically my personal review. I want to write this immediately i rode the bike. I thought i would put the comparison of Pulsar with this.

The initial looks of the bike will make you say WOW!!!!!!!!!. Yes the looks are amazing no doubt in that. x-treme is much like girls.. initially they look great until they open their mouth.. X-treme looks good until you drive the bike.

The engine is very smooth no doubt about it . But if you gonna compare with pulsar.. it doesn’t come even near by. Pick up,.accleration is not impressive at all. It leaves a huge doubt in the driver whether it is a 150cc bike or not. On the other hand. the pulsar acceleration is great. After driving the bike you feel that yes, this is the bike i want..

x-treme is not good in handling in the city too . It doesn’t give leverage to run slow in high gears.. It doesn’t make you feel comfortable at all. Also you feel that all you body weight is falling in your hands when you drive for a long distance.

Finally i feel that the reason you want to go for xtreme would just be looks. and few point for smooth riding.. But it can never be compared to it previous version..
Pulsar on the other hand has no threat from this powerless beauty.. Yes pulsar is definitely male..

Vegetarian chicken and Vegetarian Fish

Trying different option for food was always in my plate. Not only chinese girls but also chinese food is special. For veggie lovers one of the best food is to try a Chinese vegetarian

I never heard of broccoli’s beef or a vegetarian chicken. one of my friend Cynthia and Her husband LAI took me to a Chinese restaurant named “golden era”. Since I am pure vegetarian I always had very little option to eat. Golden era had a big list of items, when I started reading the menu I found every thing ended like beef, Chicken, Fish. But they were not real chicken or fish they were imitati. They were made up with Tofu or other vegetarian item. Tofu is foreign substitute for Panner. They have made up of Soya

Cynthia and Lai had a hard time explaining me the dishes. Finally we decided to have a Fish and Chicken with rice. The restaurant was playing a Chinese soundtrack in the background .A lady in her Chinese gown arrived with some plastic mat kind of thing in her hand and warm water in a bowl. She kept the fish; it was exactly looking same as real fish. I initially thought of the mat are for placing the bowls. For my surprise she took the mat and dipped in the warm water. The mat was made of rice and it became soft. She then kept the mat in the plate, using chopsticks she took some cucumber, onions, and carrot and placed in the mat. She then took a piece of fish and placed in mat. Then I rolled that and ate. Hmm…….. Yummy it was amazing,

I always fancied of having rice in chopsticks, It was really hard. Cynthia and Lai tried their best to make me eat with chopsticks; I managed to eat some but later took spoon and forceps to compete. That was definitely one of the best lunch i had. end of the day was perfect with the Chinese noodles and Chinese tea.

Defiantly you should try vegetating chicken, fish, and beef. One of the place you can get in SFO is .

Tendulkar Centuries in vain ??

Hi All,

I agree that i am writing this beacuse i am a die hard fan of sachin. But there some interesting things i would like to write.

Every time people say that sachin is not a match winner. Even when india is batting first, even if he scores 100+ , even if he takes 3 wickets in the same match, India loose.. Is sachin a reason for this.

I am giving here the detials of the match in which india has lost when he had scored centuries. This i have taken from a mail.

When many people say how many of Sachin's hundreds have come for a winning cause,Here is analysis of each of those centuries he scored when INDIA lost and reason why it went in vain.
Out of the 45 hundreds, 12 hundreds have gone in vain.

1. Another classic example of lone warrior fighting alone , Legend takes almost home but others couldn't just finish the game ,

This century was one of the tendulkar's best , Scoring 175 out just 141 ball . Personally i think this was his best , because the pressure was there right from the first ball. Master was there for almost 47 overs and other 4 wickets fell after that cant imagine , Sachin scored over 50 % of the runs 175 out of 350 and still other 10 people could not score other 50% how pathetic.

Score Card : V Sehwag 38(30) ,S Tendulkar 175(141),G Gambhir 8(13),Yuvraj Singh 9(10),*MS Dhoni 6(15),S Raina 59 (59),Harbhajan 0 (2) ,R Jadeja 23 P Kumar 9 (9)
A Nehra 1 (2) M Patel 2 (3)

2. 137 off 137 balls Vs SriLanka at Delhi in 1996 World Cup .India scored 271/3 in 50 overs. The only other 50 score was from Azhar. SL made 272 in 48.4 overs. Manoj Prabhakar had 4-0-47-0. He also opened in the innings with Sachin and scored 7 of 36 balls.

3. 100 of 111 Balls Vs Pak in Singapore- Apr 96 .India 226 all out in 47.1 overs, When Sachin was out score was 186/4. Pak had a reduced target of 187 from 33 overs.

4. 110 of 138 Balls vs Sri Lanka In Colombo - Aug 96.Again India 226 for 5 in 50 overs, Only other 50 score from Azhar (58 of 99 balls).Sachin has also bowled 6-0-29-1, the second most economical bowler and the only wicket taker (SL were 230/1 in 44.2) of the match next to Srinath. 7 bowlers were used by Azhar.

5. 143 of 131 Balls Vs Aus at Sharjah, Apr 1998.This was chasing under lights. The qualifying match before the final. The whole world knows about this match. Still one interesting point, when Sachin was out India were 242 at 5 at 43 overs. Target was 276 in 46. Still India finished at 250/5 scoring just 8 of the next 3 overs. Great performance by Laxman and Kanithkar indeed.

6. 101 of 140 Balls against SL at Sharjah in Oct 2000.Indian score was 224/8 in 50 overs. (No other 50 score). SL got 225/5 in 43.5, Sachin also bowled 5-0-22-0, better economy rate than everyone except Srinath.

7. 146 of 153 Balls against Zimbabwe at Jodhpur - December 2000 India made 283 / 8 in 50 overs. Sachin was the last man to be dismissed, score was 235/8 at 46.3 overs when he was out. Agarkar and Zaheer Khan propelled India to 283 in the last 3.3 overs. When Sachin has scored 146 of 235 in 46.3 overs, you can guess what the other 8 great batsmen were doing against the World class Zimbabwe attack. Second Highest scorer was Zaheer Khan with 32.Zim got 284/9 in 49.5 overs. Agarkar bowled the last over. Sachin also got 6-0-35-1

8. 101 of 129 Balls Vs SA at Johannesburg - Oct 2001India got 279/5 in 50, Ganguly made 127 of 126 balls. When Ganguly got out, the score was 193-1 in 35.2 overs. Sachin was the last man to get out. SA got 280 in 48.4 overs. Sachin bowled 9-0-51-0, second best in economy rate next only to Agarkar (10-0-45-1)

9. 141 of 135 balls Vs Pak at Rawalpindi, March 2004 .India were chasing 329 and were 317 all out in 48.4 overs, 8 balls to spare. No other batsman made even a 50 (when chasing 300 ) and when Sachin was out, India were 245-4 in 38.4 overs. They needed 85 from 68 balls with 6 wickets in hand.

10. 123 of 130 Balls vs Pak at Ahmedabad, April 2005.India made 315/6 in 48 overs (48 over match), again no other 50 score. Second highest was Dhoni 47 of 64 balls, (third highest was extras - 39). Pak made 319 in 48 overs. The three quicks (Balaji, Nehra and Khan went for 188 runs from 26 overs between them taking only 2 wickets). Sachin bowled 6-0-36-1. No Harbhajan and no Kumble.

11. 100 of 113 Balls Vs Pak at Peshawar, Feb-2006. India were 328 all out in 49.4 overs. Pathan and Dhoni got 60 each. When Sachin was out when India were 305-5 in 45 overs. Managed only 23 in the last 5 overs.Pak scored 311/7 in 47 overs and won by D/L method. Could have been anybody's game. Sachin did not bowl.

12. 141* of 148 balls vs WI at Malaysia. India made 309 /5 in 50 overs. Sachin was not out. Pathan was the only other 50 scorer. WI made 141/2 in 20 overs and won by D/L method. Again could have been anybody's game.
In the other 31 instances India has won 30 times and once there was no result .
Now, please think again when you say Sachin's 100s were in the losing cause and that he is not a team player. It is a fact that for the entire 90's India played International cricket with 1 PLAYER and 10 JOKERS.

Regards
